Jumpstart: Chan is offended by Rom’s choice of movies and the way he eggs on the white protagonist in the movie. Rom defends himself by saying, “Geez, I’m just joking. What are you getting so uptight for? It isn’t like I’m calling you a name. I’m doing it to the guys on-screen” (136). Do you agree with Rom or Chan? Why?
